Hillsong Church, the largest church in
Australia, was founded in 1893 by Bobbie and Brian Houston. At first
Hillsong Church was only covering four campuses in Hills, City,
Southwest and Brisbane, whereas today this church counts more than
20,000 members throughout Australia. Hillsong churches also exist in
Paris, Kiev, London, Stockholm, New York, Capetown and Germany. This
church became so popular due to the live praises and worship albums
that were produced by Hillsong Music Australia. Hillsong Church
worship songs were meant to inspire people and strength their faith
in God. Their first album of 20 records was released in 1988. Soon
after, this album gained a lot of success in over 90 countries.
